Reimaging tomorrow is a project where Plastipurge and Aqua Rover are outcomes of a speculative and critical design project focused on ocean plastic pollution. Plastic Purge envisions a far-future solution where biotechnology and nanotechnology create a living suit capable of digesting plastic waste, while Aqua Rover offers a near-future approach through an interactive, gesture-controlled drone designed for real-time ocean cleanup. Developed in collaboration with Tom Tits Experiments and Konstfack, this project explores innovative ways to engage the public and provide impactful solutions to combat ocean plastic pollution across different timeframes.
