Purpose Planning explored how individuals can navigate uncertainty while making meaningful decisions about their personal and professional futures. In a world shaped by rapid technological, social, and economic change, traditional approaches to career and life planning often fail to account for evolving aspirations, shifting opportunities, and complex life circumstances. The project investigated how design methodologies could help people better understand themselves, identify long-term goals, and create adaptable pathways toward purposeful futures. Through research into human behavior, motivation, decision-making, and goal-setting practices, I examined the factors that influence how individuals define purpose and make life choices. The project combined systems thinking with reflective frameworks to map the relationships between personal values, external influences, opportunities, and constraints. This approach helped reveal how seemingly independent decisions are often shaped by broader social and environmental contexts. The outcome was a structured planning framework designed to support self-reflection, future exploration, and informed decision-making. Rather than prescribing fixed outcomes, the framework encourages individuals to continuously evaluate their priorities, adapt to changing circumstances, and make choices aligned with their evolving aspirations. The project demonstrates how strategic design can be applied beyond products and services to help people navigate complexity, uncertainty, and personal growth in a more intentional way.
